Notas de 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 e 100 reais, de tamanhos e cores diferentes<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

O Banco Central (BC) lan\u00e7ou nesta quarta-feira as novas c\u00e9dulas de real. As
\nnotas reformuladas de R$ 50 e R$ 100 come\u00e7am a circular ainda no primeiro
\nsemestre deste ano, segundo informou o Banco Central. As notas de menor valor – de R$
\n2, R$ 5, R$ 10 e R$ 20 – ser\u00e3o trocadas gradualmente at\u00e9 2012. Essa \u00e9 a
\nsegunda s\u00e9rie de notas de real lan\u00e7ada pelo governo. A primeira foi em 1994.<\/p>\n

“O objetivo \u00e9 que sejam mais seguras contra falsifica\u00e7\u00e3o” , disse o ministro
\nda Fazenda, Guido Mantega. Justificou que as mudan\u00e7as foram poss\u00edveis pela
\nmoderniza\u00e7\u00e3o da Casa da Moeda.<\/p>\n

Entre as novidades, as novas c\u00e9dulas conter\u00e3o itens de seguran\u00e7a mais
\nsofisticados e layout mais atraente, com destaque para as de R$ 50 e de R$
\n100, que ter\u00e3o as atuais figuras de animais na horizontal e em imagem tridimensional.
\nAl\u00e9m disso, as notas passam a ter tamanhos diferentes de acordo com o valor,
\nassim como ocorre com o euro. Dessa forma, a nota de R$ 2 ser\u00e1 a menor, e a
\nde R$ 100, a maior.<\/p>\n

O presidente do Banco Central, Henrique Meirelles tamb\u00e9m participou da
\ncerim\u00f4nia, assim como o ministro do Planejamento, Or\u00e7amento e Gest\u00e3o, Paulo
\nBernardo.
\nAs c\u00e9dulas s\u00e3o assinadas por Mantega e Meirelles.<\/p>\n

“O real se tornou uma moeda forte” , disse Mantega. “Al\u00e9m disso, temos que
\nnos preparar para que o real seja uma moeda de curso internacional. J\u00e1
\ncome\u00e7a
\na haver demanda para que seja utilizado fora do Brasil, da\u00ed a import\u00e2ncia de
\nser s\u00f3lida” , completou Mantega.<\/p>\n

“A popula\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o precisa ir ao banco para trocar as c\u00e9dulas. Elas [as atuais
\ne as novas] v\u00e3o conviver conjuntamente [at\u00e9 que todas sejam recolhidas],

Seguran\u00e7a<\/p>\n

Elas tamb\u00e9m ter\u00e3o recursos gr\u00e1ficos mais sofisticados que v\u00e3o proteg\u00ea-las de
\nfalsifica\u00e7\u00e3o. Foram mantidos os elementos que j\u00e1 existiam, como a marca
\nd\u00e1gua,
\ne outros foram redesenhados para facilitar a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o e dificultar a
\nfalsifica\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Em comunicado, o BC afirma que, em mais de 15 anos de exist\u00eancia do Plano
\nReal, n\u00e3o houve nenhuma incid\u00eancia grave em termos de falsifica\u00e7\u00e3o de notas
\nque
\nlevasse \u00e0 substitui\u00e7\u00e3o, contudo, alerta que a populariza\u00e7\u00e3o das tecnologias
\ndigitais faz com que a institui\u00e7\u00e3o se antecipe e aja preventivamente com a
\ntroca de c\u00e9dulas.<\/p>\n

Segundo o BC, as c\u00e9dulas de R$ 100 e de R$ 50 demandam maior seguran\u00e7a
\ncontra falsifica\u00e7\u00f5es por serem os valores mais elevados em circula\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Deficientes visuais<\/p>\n

As novas c\u00e9dulas de real v\u00e3o atender \u00e0 demanda dos deficientes visuais e
\nter\u00e3o tamanhos diferentes e marcas em relevo que facilitam a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o
\nt\u00e1til.<\/p>\n

“J\u00e1 existiam demandas para que houvesse uma forma de os deficientes visuais
\nidentificar as c\u00e9dulas”, disse o presidente do Banco Central, Henrique
\nMeirelles,
\nao fazer o an\u00fancio da nova fam\u00edlia do real.
