A exposi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 uma homenagem ao Dia Internacional da S\u00edndrome de Down, comemorado dia 21 de mar\u00e7o.<\/p>\n<p>A exposi\u00e7\u00e3o traz o trabalho da fot\u00f3grafa Laura Daniel, que apresenta nesta exposi\u00e7\u00e3o cerca de oitenta fotos de crian\u00e7as e jovens de Sorocaba e regi\u00e3o, com S\u00edndrome de Down desempenhando as mais variadas atividades.<\/p>\n<p>A proposta desta exposi\u00e7\u00e3o, segundo a fundadora da ONG C\u00e9lia Regina dos Santos, \u00e9 mostrar atrav\u00e9s das fotografias de pessoas com a S\u00edndrome de Down como pode ser feita a inclus\u00e3o social, seja esta no trabalho, nas atividades f\u00edsicas e art\u00edsticas, na fam\u00edlia ou na sociedade. \u201cA exposi\u00e7\u00e3o vai ajudar, atrav\u00e9s da informa\u00e7\u00e3o, que \u00e9 poss\u00edvel incluir essas pessoas na comunidade\u201d, explica ela.<\/p>\n<p>Casos reais<\/p>\n<p>A ONG \u201cFelicidade Down\u201d existe h\u00e1 mais de cinco anos e \u00e9 composta por pais e amigos de crian\u00e7as e jovens com S\u00edndrome de Down. A pr\u00f3pria C\u00e9lia \u00e9 C\u00e9lia Regina dos Santos \u00e9 m\u00e3e de Bruna Teresa dos Santos, uma jovem de 27 anos, portadora de S\u00edndrome de Down, que trabalha h\u00e1 12 anos num dos restaurantes da rede McDonald\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>A ONG tem como objetivo propiciar a amizade, a socializa\u00e7\u00e3o, a inclus\u00e3o e a integra\u00e7\u00e3o no trabalho dessas pessoas. Para atingir esses objetivos, o \u201cFelicidade Down\u201d desenvolve in\u00fameras atividades sociais, recreativas, culturais, educacionais, esportivas, firmando tamb\u00e9m parcerias que possam promover o crescimento pessoal e cultural dessas pessoas.
