Um dos pontos centrais do estudo ser\u00e1 uma an\u00e1lise das desigualdades entre padr\u00f5es de desenvolvimento humano.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cO 20\u00ba Anivers\u00e1rio \u00e9 uma ocasi\u00e3o para fazer balan\u00e7o, refletir e avan\u00e7ar em conceitos, medidas e debates-chave sobre desenvolvimento humano\u201d, afirma um comunicado do Escrit\u00f3rio para o Relat\u00f3rio de Desenvolvimento Humano. Para a elabora\u00e7\u00e3o do texto, est\u00e3o sendo feitas \u201cpesquisas para revisar e compreender os ganhos de desenvolvimento humano e os desafios em um mundo que passa por mudan\u00e7a sem precedentes\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>As pesquisas incluem o IDH (\u00cdndice de Desenvolvimento Humano), lan\u00e7ado j\u00e1 no primeiro RDH e desde ent\u00e3o carro-chefe dos relat\u00f3rios. \u201cO 20\u00ba Anivers\u00e1rio permite considerar elementos para incrementar o valor do IDH e fazer altera\u00e7\u00f5es no quadro estat\u00edstico do RDH, para abordar temas mais amplos relacionados \u00e0s dimens\u00f5es do desenvolvimento humano, como sustentabilidade, igualdade e empoderamento\u201d, diz o comunicado.<\/p>\n<p>Uma das quest\u00f5es a serem abordadas no estudo \u00e9 se, ao longo das \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas, o mundo tornou-se um lugar melhor para se viver. Numa esp\u00e9cie de blog preparativo para o relat\u00f3rio, Let&#8217;s talk HD, o chefe de pesquisas do escrit\u00f3rio do RDH, Francisco Rodr\u00edguez, adianta parte do debate: \u201cAs \u00faltimas quatro d\u00e9cadas t\u00eam sido, em grande parte, um per\u00edodo de progresso substancial no desenvolvimento do mundo como um todo. A m\u00e9dia mundial do IDH cresceu 29% nesse per\u00edodo. S\u00f3 em um dos 111 pa\u00edses da s\u00e9rie de dados houve decl\u00ednio do IDH desde 1970 (foi na Z\u00e2mbia).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Essas melhorias, detalha Rodr\u00edguez, ocorreram principalmente em educa\u00e7\u00e3o e sa\u00fade. Por\u00e9m, isso n\u00e3o pode ser tomado como indica\u00e7\u00e3o de que a globaliza\u00e7\u00e3o foi ben\u00e9fica para os pa\u00edses em desenvolvimento. \u201cAs evid\u00eancias mostram que o grande crescimento em educa\u00e7\u00e3o e sa\u00fade nos \u00faltimos 40 anos teve pouco ou nada a ver com a globaliza\u00e7\u00e3o. Teve a ver \u00e9 com a decis\u00e3o dos estados de expandir seus sistemas educacionais e de sa\u00fade, acompanhada de iniciativas da comunidade internacional para permitir o acesso a vacina e antibi\u00f3ticos\u201d, escreve.<\/p>\n<p>De qualquer modo, mesmo com as melhorias o mundo ainda convive com grandes desigualdades sociais.
