A trajet\u00f3ria de vida destas pessoas come\u00e7a ser reescrita, saindo de um per\u00edodo de cren\u00e7as e verdades absolutas para uma etapa de constru\u00e7\u00e3o da hist\u00f3ria onde cada indiv\u00edduo passa a ser protagonista.<\/p>\n<p>A FBASD tem como miss\u00e3o liderar o processo de transforma\u00e7\u00e3o da sociedade para que se reconhe\u00e7a a pessoa com s\u00edndrome de down como cidad\u00e3o pleno e integrado, por meio de mobiliza\u00e7\u00e3o, convencimento e incorpora\u00e7\u00e3o da classe pol\u00edtica dirigente, do sistema educacional, de outros organismos sociais e da comunica\u00e7\u00e3o, apoiado em valores como inclus\u00e3o, \u00e9tica da diversidade, solidariedade, responsabilidade e equidade. A meta da inclus\u00e3o \u00e9, progressivamente, transformar a sociedade para que se termine com qualquer tipo de segrega\u00e7\u00e3o. Entendemos que cada ser humano \u00e9 diferente, n\u00e3o s\u00f3 em suas caracter\u00edsticas f\u00edsicas ou ps\u00edquicas como tamb\u00e9m em suas necessidades.
