Universidade de Bras\u00edlia.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bdtd.bce.unb.br\/tedesimplificado\/tde_busca\/arquivo.php?codArquivo=3914\">Link para download.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>RESUMO\/ABSTRACT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>O presente trabalho teve como objetivo investigar se uma pessoa com defici\u00eancia admite e manifesta o preconceito em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 pr\u00f3pria defici\u00eancia. Examina-se como historicamente o conceito de defici\u00eancia foi sendo constru\u00eddo como uma forma de estabelecimento do preconceito, demonstrando como essa constru\u00e7\u00e3o institui o olhar para o deficiente como um ser incapaz e sem responsabilidade, dotado apenas de direitos. Examinam-se ainda os diversos modos de manifesta\u00e7\u00e3o do preconceito da defici\u00eancia. Com base nessa caracteriza\u00e7\u00e3o, em um segundo momento, de car\u00e1ter emp\u00edrico, foi realizada uma an\u00e1lise comparativa entre grupos de deficientes auditivos, f\u00edsicos, mentais e visuais a fim de verificar se \u00e9 poss\u00edvel reconhecer, na fala dessas pessoas, se elas sentem preconceito em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 sua pr\u00f3pria defici\u00eancia. Os dados foram obtidos por meio de um question\u00e1rio.
