O GIFE e a WINGS – Worldwide Intiatives for Grantmaker Support, rede mundial que re\u00fane associa\u00e7\u00f5es de funda\u00e7\u00f5es de mais de 50 pa\u00edses, realizam o Semin\u00e1rio Investimento Social<\/strong> Global e o Papel das Ag\u00eancias de Desenvolvimento, no dia 24 de fevereiro, das 9h \u00e0s 13h.<\/h3>\n

Com o apoio do Consulado do Canad\u00e1 e do Instituto BM&FBOVESPA, que sediar\u00e1 o evento, o semin\u00e1rio ser\u00e1 palco da divulga\u00e7\u00e3o de duas pesquisas in\u00e9ditas sobre investimento social global e sobre funda\u00e7\u00f5es comunit\u00e1rias elaboradas pela WINGS.<\/p>\n

A primeira pesquisa,The 2010 Global Status Report on Community Foundations, aponta o crescimento das funda\u00e7\u00f5es comunit\u00e1rias pelo mundo. Segundo o levantamento, que ser\u00e1 apresentado pela vice-presidente da Community Foundations of Canada, Jane Humphries, a Europa foi a grande incubadora dessa modalidade de organiza\u00e7\u00e3o na \u00faltima d\u00e9cada, ao apresentar um crescimento de aproximadamente 600%.<\/p>\n

Globalmente, mostra a pesquisa, o n\u00famero de funda\u00e7\u00f5es comunit\u00e1rias quase dobrou nos \u00faltimos 10 anos – de 905 em 2000, para 1680, em 2010. Muito desse crescimento prov\u00e9m da Am\u00e9rica do Norte (de 700 para 880), apesar de grande parte dessas organiza\u00e7\u00f5es ter se formando antes de 2003. Em outros continentes, o surgimento de novas organiza\u00e7\u00f5es (quase 100) est\u00e1 concentrado na \u00c1frica e \u00c1sia.<\/p>\n

\u201cFunda\u00e7\u00f5es comunit\u00e1rias possibilitam a indiv\u00edduos, fam\u00edlias e empres\u00e1rios uma forma de participar, e retribuir, em suas pr\u00f3prias comunidades. \u00c9 por isso, que esse modelo continua a crescer no mundo\u201d, afirma Jane Humphries.<\/p>\n

J\u00e1 a segunda, Global Institutional Philanthropy report, a ser apresentada pelo vice-presidente do Council on Foundations, Matthew Nelson, traz um perfil da filantropia internacional, por regi\u00f5es e pa\u00edses. Ao mesmo tempo, os relat\u00f3rios demonstram tamb\u00e9m as lacunas de informa\u00e7\u00e3o sobre investimento social privado na maior parte dos pa\u00edses e o imenso obst\u00e1culo para que ele cres\u00e7a e se torne uma pr\u00e1tica ainda mais efetiva.<\/p>\n

\u201cTrata-se de um levantamento sobre o investimento institucionalizado em diferentes partes do mundo. Saber os temas, formas de atua\u00e7\u00e3o e estrat\u00e9gias ajudam a enriquecer o campo da filantropia\u201d, afirma a diretor-executiva da WINGS, Helena Monteiro.<\/p>\n

No encontro, tamb\u00e9m ser\u00e1 realizado debate com ag\u00eancias de desenvolvimento sobre o seu papel na promo\u00e7\u00e3o do investimento social no mundo. Para a mesa foram convidados o Chefe do Departamento de Economia Solid\u00e1ria do BNDES, Angelo Fuchs, o representante no Brasil do Banco Interamericano de Desenvolvimento, Fernando Carrillo, e o diretor da Ag\u00eancia Brasileira de Coopera\u00e7\u00e3o (ABC), Min. Marco Farani (ABC).<\/p>\n

\u201cO objetivo da mesa \u00e9 explorar as possibilidades de articula\u00e7\u00e3o entre o investimento social privado brasileiro – que enfrenta o desafio de internacionaliza\u00e7\u00e3o – com a atua\u00e7\u00e3o das ag\u00eancias governamentais e multilaterais que promovem a coopera\u00e7\u00e3o internacional\u201d, afirma o secret\u00e1rio-geral do GIFE e chairman da WINGS, Fernando Rossetti, que ir\u00e1 mediar a mesa.<\/p>\n
