Fundada em 1982 com sede em Norfolk, Virg\u00ednia, a Operation Smile \u00e9 uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e9dica internacional formada por volunt\u00e1rios dedicados a melhorar a vida e a sa\u00fade de crian\u00e7as e jovens ao redor do mundo. Desde sua funda\u00e7\u00e3o, j\u00e1 tratou mais de 130.000 crian\u00e7as nascidas com fissuras l\u00e1bio palatais e outras deformidades faciais.<\/p>\n

No Brasil ela j\u00e1 realizou mais de 30 programas cir\u00fargicos e nos pr\u00f3ximos dias estar\u00e1 no Hospital Clementino Fraga Filho, o Hospital do Fund\u00e3o para operar mais pessoas.<\/p>\n
